THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.20284 of 2016 ORDER:

The petitioner is working as an Executive Officer in Sri Pallikondeswara Swamy Devasthanam, Surutupalli, Nagalapuram Mandal, Chittoor District. Earlier he worked in the sixth respondent temple during the period from 09.11.2006 to 20.06.2008. While so he received an order dated 28.05.2015 asking the petitioner to submit his explanation for the alleged irregularities committed during the period he worked as Executive Officer in the sixth respondent temple. The petitioner submitted his explanation on 21.12.2015. When four Executive Officers were promoted by proceedings dated 03.03.2016 ignoring the case of the petitioner, the present Writ Petition is filed. The case of the petitioner is that he stands at serial No.2 in the seniority list published on 02.02.2016, but without assigning any reason, he was denied promotion.

The petitioner submitted a representation on 10.03.2016 to the third respondent and sought reconsideration of his case for promotion as Executive Officer Grade-I. When the same was not disposed of, the present Writ Petition was filed. Learned Government Pleader agreed for disposal of the Writ Petition, since the main grievance of the petitioner relates to the promotion to the post of Executive Officer Grade-I, for which the petitioner submitted the representation on 10.03.2016. In the circumstances, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.03.2016, and pass appropriate orders thereon, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of.

The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.

to costs.
