This Writ Petition is filed assailing the inaction of respondent No.4 in preventing respondent No.5 from raising construction by occupying a 12 feet wide public road to the extent of 6 feet.

The learned Counsel representing Mr.Golla Seshadri, learned Standing Counsel for respondent No.4- Gram Panchayat, submitted that on receipt of representation, dated 24-12-2015, of the petitioner, the Panchayat Secretary of respondent No.4 has addressed letter to the Tahsildar, Renigunta, requesting him to conduct survey in order to find out whether respondent No.5 has encroached any part of the public road and that he was instructed not to proceed with the construction pending such survey and demarcation. He has further submitted that immediately after getting the survey and demarcation done, respondent No.4 will take appropriate action, if it is found that respondent No.5 has encroached upon any part of the public road as alleged by the petitioner.

The above submission of the learned Standing Counsel for Gram Panchayat is placed on

record and the Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
