The petitioners are accused 1, 2, 5 to 9 in Sessions Case No.366 of 2015 on the file of the II Additional Assistant Sessions Judge, Ranga Reddy, at L.B. Nagar, Hyderabad, taken cognisance for the offence punishable under Sections 498(A), 307, 324 IPC.

The case while under trial, the quash petition is filed by husband of the defacto-complainant already examined as PW.1 as 1st respondent and pending the same the application is filed seeking permission to compound the noncompoundable offences stating that they settled the matter outside the Court through elders interference by purchase of peace amicable by paying to the victim an amount of Rs.5,00,000/- referred in the Memorandum of Understanding which is enclosed as part of the compromise petition. The complainant is present and she states that she received the said amount which is referred as Bankers Cheque bearing No.036553 dated 17.08.2018 drawn on HDFC Bank, and stated No Objection to withdraw the case, in view of the settlement arrived.

In the result, the I.A.No.2 of 2018 is allowed. Consequently, the Criminal Petition is also allowed quashing the proceedings in S.C.No.366 of 2015 on the file of the II Additional Assistant Sessions Judge, Ranga Reddy, at L.B. Nagar, Hyderabad, against the petitioners/A.1, A2, A5 to A9 and they are acquitted. Their bail bonds shall stand cancelled. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
