O R D E R

The case of the petitioners is that they were redeployed from other Government Departments and have been working as Panchayat Secretaries for the past about fourteen years. Vide letter No.424/2014A1-(Pts), dated 8.9.2016, the District Panchayat Officer, Medak District at Sangareddy, furnished information to the 2nd respondent - Director of Panchayat Raj and Rural Employment, State of Telangana for absorption. Aggrieved by the action of the respondents in not absorbing the petitioners in Panchayat Raj Department and in promoting juniors to the petitioners to the next higher cadre, the present writ petition is filed.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj Department by producing copy of Lr.No.683/CPR& RE/B2/2014 dated 4.2.2017 addressed by the 2nd respondent to the 1st respondent - State of Telangana, represented by its Principal Secretary, Panchayt Raj and Rural Development Department, submits that proposals have been to sent to the Government for absorption and that appropriate action would be taken. In view of the above facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 1st respondent to take appropriate action in accordance with law in pursuance of Lr.No.683/CPR& RE/B2/2014 dated 4.2.2017 addressed by the 2nd respondent, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No order as to costs.
