This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 by the petitioners/A-3, A-4, A-6 and A-5 seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.157 of 2015 on the file of Steel Plant Police Station, Visakhapatnam, Visakhapatnam District.

2. Heard and perused the material available on record.

3. The offence alleged against the petitioners is punishable under Section 498-A I.P.C.

4. After hearing the arguments and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is of the view that the case can be investigated into by the Investigating Agency and on such investigation, if it is found that the petitioners are not directly involved in the crime, the Investigating Agency is at liberty to refer the matter as "False" insofar as the petitioners are concerned. Further, if any charge sheet is filed and the petitioners are aggrieved by the same, they are at liberty to approach appropriate Forum for appropriate relief.
