THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.35718 of 2018 ORDER:

When the matter is taken up, written instructions furnished by the Regional Passport Officer, Hyderabad, dated 30.10.2018, are placed on record by Smt.G.Rukmini, learned Additional Standing Counsel for the Union of India. The said written instructions read as under:- "1) This respondent office is in receipt of letter, dated 19.09.2018, from the petitioner to impound the passport of Mr.Abdul Mannan holder of the passport bearing No.M7607993 (Annexure-I).

2) On verification of records, it is found that Mr.Abdul Mannan has initially obtained passport bearing No.F4055064, dated 06.07.2005 valid up to 05.07.2015 from this respondent office and in continuation of the above passport he has obtained passport bearing No.M7607993, dated 03.08.2015, valid up to 02.08.2025 from Embassyof India, Riyadh (Annexure-II).

3) Since the latest passport bearing No.M760793, dated 03.08.2015 was issued from Embassy of India, Riyadh, this Office has forwarded the complaint letter of the petitioner to Embassy of India, Riyadh on 01.10.2018 for necessary action at their end and the same was intimated to the petitioner vide letter No.Hyd/30/Pol/PCC/224/2018, dated 01.10.2018 (Annexure-III)".

Having regard to the said contents, the Writ Petition is disposed of, by placing on record the said instructions.
