ORAL ORDER:

Petitioner claims that while working as Driver, he met with an accident resulting amputation of his left leg up to knee level and he was declared unfit for the post of Driver and was retired from service on 12.7.2012 and he was also paid additional medical benefits. Claiming to grant compassionate appointment on the ground of medical invalidation, petitioner submitted representations dated 6.5.2016 and 4.7.2016 to the Vice Chairman and Managing Director and representation dated 11.7.2016 to the Depot Manager, Parvathipuram depot. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that so far said representations are not disposed of.

Since, representations are submitted and it is contended that they are not disposed of so far, writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representations of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. No costs. Having regard to the same, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, are closed.
