ORDER:

The grievance of the petitioner is with regard to consideration of his application dated 05.10.2015 seeking compensation with regard to Ac.1.41 cents of land in Sy.No.37/1 of P. Rajavaram village, Jeelugumilli Mandal, West Godavari District. Petitioner states that the said land is acquired for the purpose of Chintalapudi Lift Irrigation Canal and that as the land vests in him, he is entitled to compensation.

2. The application of the petitioner, however, dated 05.10.2015 appears to have been sent by registered post acknowledgement due, which is, at present, presumed to have been received by the Land Acquisition Officer, as there is no acknowledgement available from the record.

3. Learned Government Pleader, on instructions, states that Award No.50 of 2015 dated 22.09.2015 was passed awarding compensation to one Kommasani Nagireddy, who is stated to be an enjoyer of the said land.

4. As the petitioner claims title to the aforesaid land and claims entitlement for compensation and seeks consideration of his application, referred to above, at this stage, I deem it appropriate to direct the third respondent to consider the application of the petitioner, as aforesaid and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law expeditiously. The writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any,

shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. ______________________ VILAS V. AFZULPURKAR, J October 12, 2015 DSK
