THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION NO.26171 OF 2014 ORDER:
With the consent of the counsel appearing on both sides this Writ Petition is being disposed of, at the stage of admission. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the issue raised in this Writ Petition is squarely covered by the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.26919 of 2014 dt.27.08.2019 and contends that similar order be passed in the present Writ Petition also.
Learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has not disputed the submission made by the counsel for petitioner and contends that this Writ Petition can also be disposed of in terms of the order in W.P.No.26919 of 2014 dt.27.08.2019. This Court, having considered the submissions made by both the parties, is of the considered view that this Writ Petition can also be disposed of in terms of the order in W.P.No.26919 of 2014 dt.27.08.2019, directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for appointment in any suitable post under land oustees quota in tune with the policy of the respondents and also in terms of the judgment rendered by this Court in W.P.No.26272 of 1995, dt.05.03.1997, and pass appropriate orders, if not already passed, within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. Office is directed to enclose a copy of the order dated 27.08.2019 in W.P.No.26919 of 2014 to this order.
There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
