ORDER

This petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is filed by the petitioner/A2 seeking to quash the proceedings in Cr.No.36 of 2016 of I Town Police Station, Ongole, Prakasam District, for the offences punishable under Sections 354-D, 509, 506 read with Section 34 IPC and under Section 12 of POCSO Act, 2012, against her.

2. It is alleged in the complaint that the petitioner/A2 and her husband-A1 having acquainted with the de facto complainant borrowed some money from the de facto complainant and out of friendship, they used to visit her house and gave cell phone to her daughter, aged 16 years and A1 used to put vulgar messages to her daughter and harassed her and A1 intentionally gave hug to Hemalatha, who is the daughter of the elder sister of de facto complainant, and both the accused also abused the de facto complainant in filthy language and threatened her with dire consequences. Based on the complaint, the aforesaid crime was registered against the accused.

3. In view of the allegations mentioned in the complaint and also the nature of proceedings, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the impugned proceedings. However, as the petitioner/A2 being a lady, the concerned police are directed to complete the investigation without making her arrest and file a final report, if any.

4. With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
