Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri S.D.Goud, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent. 2.

According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner herein submitted an application on 09.12.2016 for permission to construct a building, but despite lapse of considerable length of time, no action has been taken on the said application.

Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel, this Court, without expressing any opinion on merits in the matter, deems it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition directing the respondent herein to pass appropriate orders on the application, dated 09.12.2016, of the petitioner strictly in accordance with law.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending consideration, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
