HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.997 of 2014 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, the petitioners seeks to quash the proceedings in Crime No.13 of 2014 of Suryapet Town PS, Nalgonda District, which was registered against them for the offences under Sections 498-A IPC and Sections 3 & 4 of D.P. Act.

2) When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 24.02.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Suryapet Town PS and submitted that the case was compromised before Lok-Adalat on 28.02.2015 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.13 of 2014 of Suryapet Town PS, has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed.

3) There is no representation for petitioners.

4) In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
