HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 6196 of 2002 ORDER:

When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is reported by the standing counsel for the respondent University that the petitioner had taken voluntary retirement and, hence, the cause in the writ petition does not survive.

On the other hand, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that she has no instructions from the petitioner and the petitioner may be given liberty to file an application seeking restoration of the writ petition, if any cause survives.

In view of the above, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, liberty is given to the petitioner to file an application seeking restoration of the writ petition, if any cause survives.
