HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 35655 of 2018 ORDER:

1) Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for revenue. With the consent of both parties, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

2) The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the inaction of respondent Nos.3 and 4, in processing the application dated 11.07.2018, for conversion of the land admeasuring Acs.2.45 cents in Survey No.829 of Nandigama village and mandal, Krishna district for non-agricultural use, as illegal and arbitrary.

3) Learned Government Pleader for revenue submits that since it is an endowment land, the said request could not be permitted, without receiving any objections. However, having regard to the fact that the application made by the petitioner is pending consideration, the same may be directed to be considered, at the earliest.

4) In view of the above submission, the authorities concerned shall examine the application dated 11.07.2018, made by the petitioner and pass orders as early as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of

receipt of a copy of the order. If the authorities are not intending to convert the land for non-agricultural use, they shall pass an order giving reasons and communicate the same to the petitioner, at the earliest.
