Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Civil Supplies.

The petitioner is permanent Fair Price Shop dealer of Shop No.588, Resham Bagh, Colconda, Hyderabad and his authorization is valid upto 31.3.2015. Within the time prescribed for making application for renewal of authorization, the petitioner made application for renewal of authorization and the same is pending with the authorities. In the meanwhile, it is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the authorities have stopped supply of essential commodities to the petitioner's Fair Price shop. As per the relevant Control Orders when an application for renewal of authorisation is pending with the authorities, the authorization is deemed to be in-force. Obviously the authorization of the petitioner was neither suspended nor cancelled.

In the circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of directing the authorities to issue essential commodities to the petitioner's Fair Price Shop during the subsistence of the authorization of the petitioner. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage. Miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed.
