This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of mandamus, declaring the order passed by the 1st respondent, vide Memo, dated 20.03.2002, without giving an opportunity to the petitioner, as arbitrary, illegal and sought a consequential direction to the respondents to reinstate the petitioner into service.
Heard Sri K.Mohan Rami Reddy, learned counsel, appearing for the petitioner, and Sri S.Ravindranath, learned counsel, appearing for the respondents.
It has been contended by the petitioner that he was appointed as a Workman in the respondents' Board on 01.07.1976. While he was discharging his duties, he was illegally terminated, vide the impugned order, dated 20.03.2002. Challenging the same, the present writ petition is filed. It has been informed by the counsel, appearing for the respondents, that at the time of admitting this writ petition, this court was pleased to grant interim suspension of the termination order, vide order, dated 10.04.2002, that in pursuance of the said interim order, the petitioner was reinstated into service, and hence the cause in this writ petition does not survive. In view of the above, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs.
Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed in consequence.
