Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, and the learned Government Pleader for Civil Supplies (A.P).

Making certain allegations, the petitioners submitted representation dated 27.10.2014 to the official respondents to conduct enquiry against the 5th respondent-Fair Price Shop dealer and to take appropriate action against him. Pursuant to the said representation, it is submitted, the Mandal Revenue Inspector, Repalle Mandal, Guntur District was directed to make a preliminary enquiry into the allegations. It is said that during the course of enquiry the Mandal Revenue Inspector, Repalle Mandal, Guntur District found that there is substance in the allegations made against the 5th respondent. The grievance of the petitioners is that even though the Mandal Revenue Inspector submitted the report stating that the allegations are true, no action has been taken against the 5th respondent.

Under these circumstances, the writ petition is

disposed of directing the respondents 1 to 4 to conduct enquiry against the 5th respondent in respect of the allegations levelled by the petitioners and take appropriate action in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage. Miscellaneous Petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed. JUSTICE R. KANTHA RAO Kk/Dated 21.4.2015
