HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No. 4584 of 2013 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, the petitioner/A.6 seeks to quash the proceedings in Crime No. 24 of 2013 of Moghulpura Police Station, Hyderabad, which was registered for the offences under Sections 366 & 554 IPC and Sections 3 & 9 of Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 16.03.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Moghalpura Police Station, Hyderabad City and submitted that in this case investigation was completed and charge sheet was filed before the learned VIII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally and PRC is numbered and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No. 24 of 2013 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
