HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 35806 of 2018 ORDER:

1) Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue. With the consent of both the parties, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

2) The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of respondent No.1 in not passing orders on the representation/application dated 30.04.2018, made by the petitioner, for deleting the names of the unofficial respondents and including the name of the petitioner in revenue records for issuance of pattadar pass books and title deeds, in respect of the lands situated in Survey No.17/2, admeasuring Ac.1.25, Survey No.17/4 admeasuring Acs.2.25 and Survey No.42/2P admeasuring Acs.6.00, situated at Tegada village, Cherla mandal of Bhadradri Kothagudem district, as illegal and arbitrary.

3) A perusal of the representation prima facie indicates that the petitioner wants to get the entries in the revenue records corrected by way of representation. According to the counsel, though the name of the petitioner figures in the revenue records, but for reasons best known, the authorities

have incorporated the names of the unofficial respondents in the said records.

4) If the petitioner is aggrieved by any of the entries made in the revenue records, appropriate remedy for him would be to get their entries rectified, as per the provisions of the Record of Rights Act.

5) Giving liberty to the petitioner to avail the said remedy, the writ petition is disposed of.
