Heard counsel for petitioners and the Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondents. 2.

Petitioners' grievance is that petitioners had made representations on 20.08.2016 and 03.04.2017 for incorporating their names in the online revenue records maintained by the respondents, but no action has been taken by the respondents 2 to 4 till date.

The Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondents states that the petitioners have to apply only through Mee-Seva for such relief and representations in physical form will not be entertained.

No rule framed by any authority mandating applications, for correction of revenue entries in the online web portal, through Mee-Seva is brought to my notice.

Therefore, the insistence of the respondents that unless the petitioners apply through Mee-Seva only, their request for correction of names in the online web portal will not be entertained is arbitrary and cannot be sustained. 6.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is allowed and the respondents 2 to 4 are directed to consider petitioners'

representations dt.20.08.2016 and 03.04.2017, for correcting their names in the online web portal in respect of their lands, within a period of six (06) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate their decision to the petitioners. No costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending if any shall stand closed.
