HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE DILIP B. BHOSALE AND HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.V. BHATT WRIT PETITION No. 22550 OF 2015 PC: (per the Hon'ble the Acting Chief Justice Dilip B. Bhosale) Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The petitioner challenges show cause notice dated 06-07-2015 issued by the 3rd respondent asking him to show cause as to why the difference of tax along with applicable compounding fee should not be collected from him. The petitioner has replied to the show cause notice on 13-07-2015. The show cause notice is yet not decided by the concerned authority.

Keeping that in view, we dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the concerned authority to decide the show cause notice as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of six weeks from today. The petitioner is directed to communicate this order to the concerned authority within a period of one week from today. In the meanwhile, if the petitioner deposits the demanded tax, his vehicle may be released subject to outcome of the show cause notice. With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
