Sri.A.Ramesh Guptha, v. The State Of Telangana
IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT HYDERABAD
FOR THE STATE OF TELANGANA & THE STATE OF ANDHRA PRADESH * * * THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V. AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No. 292 of 2016 BETWEEN A.Ramesh Gupta and others ... PETITIONERS AND The State of Telangana, Rep. by its Principal Secretary, Revenue Department and others ...RESPONDENTS Date of Order pronounced: 05.01.2016 ORDER:- Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader.
2. The grievance of the petitioners is that their revision petition filed as early as in 2008 still remains pending and is yet to be disposed of. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the revision petition is heard twice by the earlier officers but on account of their transfer, the revision was once again reopened and could not be heard and disposed of. It is stated that as per the latest notice dated 16.12.2015 the revision is proposed to be heard on 06.02.2016 and seeks a direction that the revision petition be heard and
disposed of expeditiously.
3. Keeping in view that petitioners' revision is pending from 2008, I deem it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition directing the Joint Collector-I, second respondent, to hear the petitioners and any other affected party, if any, examine the record and then pass appropriate final orders either on the date now fixed for hearing i.e., 06.02.2016 or on any other date thereafter to be fixed but not later than 31.03.2016.
With the above direction, writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
