HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.5620 of 2014 ORDER:

The grievance of the petitioners is with regard to the alleged inaction on the part of the revenue authorities on their representations dated 26.4.2013 whereby they wanted their occupation of Government lands to be regularised by grant of assignment pattas under the provisions of the Laoni Rules, 1950. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue, State of Telangana, would inform this Court that the aforestated representations cannot be acted upon at this late stage given the change of circumstances and the new policies of the Government of the day with regard to regularisation of unauthorised occupation of Government lands.

That being so, the Writ Petition is disposed of leaving it open to the petitioners to make appropriate applications under the applicable policies, if any, existing as on date. In the event such applications are made, the authorities concerned shall consider the same on their own merits and in accordance with norms. Pending Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs. ____________________ JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR 23rd January, 2019 DR
