HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No. 3426 of 2017 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, petitioners/accused seek to quash the proceedings in Crime No. 8 of 2017 of WPS, Srirampur, Mancherial District, registered for the offences under Section 498-A IPC and Section 3 & 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. 2.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 1.09.2017 of Sub-Inspector of Police, WPS, Srirampur, Mancherial District and submitted that investigation is completed and charge sheet was filed on 19.5.2017 before Judicial First Class Magistrate, Mancherial and CC is numbered and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No. 8 of 2017 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed. 3.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
