HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.10866 OF 2013 ORDER:
In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, the petitioner/A.2 seeks to quash the proceedings in FIR No.64 of 2013 of P.S., Amberpet, Hyderabad, which was registered for the offence under Section 25(1)(A) of the Arms Act.
When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor produced the letter, dated 05.06.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Amberpet Police Station, Hyderabad, and submitted that the case was ended in acquittal vide C.C.No.1218 of 2015 on the file of the IV Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in FIR No.64 of 2013 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed. No representation for learned counsel for petitioner. In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
