HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 35731 of 2018 ORDER:

1) Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue. With the consent of both the parties, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

2) The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the inaction of respondent No.4 in considering the objection/representation of the petitioner dated 21.02.2018, objecting for amendment of revenue records and to incorporate the name of the unofficial respondent and others and for trying to issue new pass books in respect of land admeasuring Acs.10.20 guntas in Survey No.234/a and Acs.7.20 guntas in Survey No.235/a/1, situated at Rajalingala revenue village, Enkoor mandal of Khammam District, without following due process of law, as illegal and arbitrary.

3) The grievance of the petitioner appears to be that the authorities are trying to change the name of the husband of the petitioner in the revenue records, without following due process of law. It is the case of the petitioner that the name of her husband is reflected in revenue records and that the petitioner is in possession of the above said property.

4) Learned Government Pleader for revenue would submit that any action taken by the authorities shall only be in accordance with law.

5) Having regard to the above, if the authorities intend to change the entries made in the revenue records, they shall follow due process of law, by giving notice to the concerned. 6) Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. 7) Miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order.
