ORDER:

This writ petition is filed for a mandamus to declare the action of the respondents in demanding additional consumption deposit for the year 2012-13 in excess of the prescribed deposit as per the extant regulations.

At the hearing, Mr.M.Rama Kanth, learned counsel representing Mr.M.S.N.Prasad, learned counsel for the petitioner, has not disputed that the period for which the additional consumption deposit has been demanded viz., 2012-13 has expired and that therefore, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication. In the light of the above fact, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.

As a sequel to dismissal of the writ petition, interim order, dated 09.08.2012 in W.P.M.P.No.31613 of is vacated and W.P.M.P.No.31613 of 2012 filed by the petitioner for interim relief shall stand dismissed as infructuous.
