THE HON'BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE SRI KALYAN JYOTI SENGUPTA AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR PUBLIC INTEREST LITIGATION NO.298 OF 2014 ORDER: (per the Hon'ble The Chief Justice Sri Kalyan Jyoti Sengupta) Learned Registrar General of the High Court has submitted a report in this matter stating that the Hon'ble The Chief Justice has been pleased to recommend name of an Hon'ble Retired Judge of this Court and such recommendation has been forwarded by the learned Registrar to the Commissioner of Civil Supplies and Secretary to Government, Consumer Affairs, Food & Civil Supplies Department, Government of Telangana, Hyderabad.

Learned counsel for the State submits that within a week appropriate steps shall be taken pursuant to the recommendation made by the Hon'ble The Chief Justice.

We therefore direct the Government to take a decision in this regard without fail within a period of one week from date. The writ petition is accordingly closed.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. There will be no order as to costs.
