ORDER

This petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is filed by the petitioner/accused, seeking to quash the proceedings in Cr.No.71 of 2015 of Chimakurthy Police Station, Prakasam District, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 465, 467 I.P.C. and Sections 66, 66-C & 66-D of the Information Technology Act (Amendment), 2008, against him.

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner/accused and learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the State.

3. Having perused the material on record, it is not a fit case to quash the proceedings at this stage, where the further investigation of the crime can be interrupted. However, this Court feels it appropriate to direct the investigating officer to complete the investigation as expeditiously as possible.

4. In that view of the matter, the Criminal Petition is disposed of directing the investigating officer concerned to complete the investigation, within a period of three (3) months from today.

5. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
