THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE SANJAY KUMAR AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE M.GANGA RAO WRI T PETI TI ON No.35844 OF 2018 ORDER: (per Hon'ble Sri Justice Sanjay Kumar) The prayer of the petitioner in this case reads as under: "For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is therefore prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue an appropriate Writ or Order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring action of respondents to allot the petitioner residuary state of Andhra Pradesh instead of New State of Telangana by tentative allocation considering the petitioner objection Representation dated:26.07.2018 the respondent final allocation they allocated to the petitioner to Telangana State vide order dated: 22.12.

2015 by Central Government violative of Article 14 and 21 of Constitution of India, consequently directing the respondents tentative allocated Andhra Pradesh instead of Telangana State which the petitioner option given and to pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case." It appears that the petitioner hails from the State of Andhra Pradesh but has been allocated to the State of Telangana. She submitted objections to the said allocation vide letter dated 26.07.2018 addressed to the Principal Secretary to the Government, Water Resources Department, Andhra Pradesh.

Smt.D.S.Laxmi, learned counsel for the petitioner, would state that it would suffice at this stage if this Court directs consideration of the said objection petition.

Accepting this plea and as both the learned Government Pleaders for Services for the States of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have no

objection to disposal of the writ petition on the said lines, the writ petition is disposed of directing both the States of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to consider the objections put forth by the petitioner in her letter dated 26.07.2018 in accordance with law and pass appropriate reasoned orders thereon, which shall be communicated to the petitioner. This exercise shall be completed expeditiously and in any event, not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
