This writ petition is filed declaring the action of the 4th respondent in insisting the petitioners to vacate from their agricultural lands admeasuring AC.2.00 cents in Sy.No.618/1, Ac.1.70 cent in Sy.No.618/2 and Ac.2.30 cents in Sy.No.518/3, total admeasuring Ac.6.00 cents situated in Paapinenipalle Village, Ardhaveedu Mandal, Prakasham District, as illegal and arbitrary.
This Court granted status-quo order on 03.06.2016. Today when the matter is called, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue produced resumption order passed by the respondent on 5.05.2016 vide proceedings in R.C.No.B/204/14 and states that appeal lies against impugned order.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioners were not issued notice before passing the resumption order dated 05.05.2016. He also submits that the petitioners have purchased the subject land on 10.11.2006 by way registered sale deed.
In view of the same, status-quo shall be maintained for a period of two (02) months from today in respect of the subject property enabling the petitioners to challenge the resumption order dated 03.06.2016 by filing appeal in accordance with law. If the petitioners fail to challenge the
said proceedings within the aforesaid period, it is for the authorities to take appropriate action in accordance with law. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
