THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION NO. 4170 of 2013 ORDER :

Heard both sides.

The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of respondent No. 2 in not conducting and completing investigation in Crime No.332 of 2010 of Penamaluru Police Station, Vijayawada, dated 29.09.2010, registered for an offence punishable under Section 304-A of IPC, as illegal and arbitrary.

Though various grounds are raised, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer seeking a direction to respondent No.2 to complete the investigation, at the earliest, and file a final report. 4.

Having regard to the submission made across the Bar, if investigation is not completed and no final report is filed, respondent No.2 shall complete the investigation in Crime No.332 of 2010 of Penamaluru Police Station, Vijayawada, dated 29.09.2010, and file a final report, in accordance with law, as early as possible, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.
