HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.9283 of 2013 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, the petitioners/A.2 to A7 seek to quash the proceedings in Crime No. 168 of 2013 of SHO, Women Police Station, South Zone, Hyderabad, which was registered for the offences under Sections 498-A, 420 & 406 IPC and Sections 3 & 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor produced the letter of Sub-Inspector of Police, W.P.S. South Zone, Hyderabad and submitted that both the parties were compromised and the case was ended in acquittal on 4.2.2014 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No. 168 of 2013 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed. 3.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
