Seeking the Court to enlarge the petitioner/accused No.1 in S.C.No.387 of 2023 on the file of Special Sessions Judge for Trial of Offences under SCs & STs (POA) Act-Cum-VII Additional District and Sessions Judge, Ranga Reddy District at L.B.Nagar, on bail, the present Criminal Petition is filed.

The brief facts of the case are that on 24.02.2023, the petitioner voluntarily surrendered before the Abdullapurmet Police and stated that as the deceased was interfering in his love life with his girl friend, he murdered the deceased by taking him to the

nearby bushes at the outskirts of Pedda Amberpet Municipality on 17.02.2023. Hence, a case was registered vide Crime No.119 of 2023 before the Abdullapurmet Police, Vanasthalipuram and after completion of the investigation, a charge sheet was filed vide S.C.No.387 of 2023 on the file of the Special Sessions Judge for Trial of Offences under SCs & STs (POA) Act-Cum-VII Additional District and Sessions Judge, Ranga Reddy District at L.B.Nagar, for the offences punishable under Sections 302, 201 read with 109, 202 of the IPC and Section 3(2)(v) of SCs & STs (POA) Act. 3.

Heard Sri P.Prabhakar Reddy, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner as well as Sri D. Arun Kumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent-State.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has been in judicial custody since 24.02.2023, which has caused difficulty in appearing for his B.Tech semester examinations. He further submitted that the petitioner was earlier granted interim bail to attend his III year B.Tech I and II semester supplementary examinations from 01.12.2025 to 10.12.2025 vide order dated 28.11.2025 passed in Crl.P.No.15595 of 2025. He further contended that the petitioner now needs to appear for his II year B.Tech supplementary examinations from 11.12.2025 to

22.12.2025 and that the petitioner is willing to furnish sureties as directed. Hence, he prayed that the Court grant interim bail to the petitioner for the purpose of attending his B.Tech supplementary examinations.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor has not opposed the prayer for granting interim bail to the petitioner, in order to enable him to appear for his B.Tech supplementary examinations. 6.

Considering the submissions made by both parties, and in view of the fact that the II year B.Tech I and II semester supplementary examinations of the petitioner are scheduled from 03.12.2025 to 22.12.2025, this Court is inclined to extend the interim bail granted to the petitioner vide order dated 28.11.2025 from 01.12.2025 to 10.12.2025, to 11.12.2025 to 22.12.2025, subject to the following conditions:

i.

The petitioner shall be released on interim bail from 11.12.2025 to 22.12.2025 subject to the executing a personal bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only) with two sureties for a like sum each to the satisfaction of the concerned Jail Superintendent.

ii.

The petitioner shall surrender before the concerned Jail Superintendent on 23.12.2025.

iii.

The concerned Jail Superintendent is directed to ensure that this order is complied forthwith.

iv.

The petitioner shall abide by the conditions stipulated in Section 437(3) of Cr.P.C.

(presently, Section 480(3) of the BNSS).

v.

Registry is directed to communicate this order to the concerned Jail Superintendent.

Accordingly, the Criminal petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed.
