THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.14524 OF 2016 ORDER:

The complaint of the petitioner in the Wit Petition is that the respondents had encroached the land of the petitioner and laid a road solely on the ground that the funds of Member of Legislative Council (MLC) are available and in that process the rights of the petitioner were affected. Setting out in detail how funds have been mis-utilized, the petitioner made a complaint to the Collector on 10.02.2016 and as a matter of fact, the District Collector in turn has directed to take necessary action.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks a direction to District Collector to complete the enquiry in a time bound manner and take necessary action against the persons who are responsible for spending the money recklessly.

3. The prayer of the Writ Petition being reasonable, it is disposed of with a direction to the 2nd respondent-Collector to consider the complaint of the petitioner filed on 10.02.2016 and take necessary action in accordance with law within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
