CVNR,J & GSP,J WP.No.35933 of 2018 Dt: 04.10.2018 Judgment: (Per the Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy) This Writ Petition is filed for issue of Habeas Corpus directing respondent Nos.4 and 5 to produce the petitioner's wife viz., Ganapathi Godha Himani (for short 'the alleged detenue') before the Court and set her at liberty.

Today, the alleged detenue is produced by the Police before the Court. She informed the Court that the petitioner, who married her in December, 2017, subjected her to torture and that unable to bear the harassment, she left him and joined her parents in December, 2018. She further submitted that she is not inclined to join the company of the petitioner.

In the light of the view expressed by the alleged detenue, the petitioner is not entitled to the relief claimed in this Writ Petition and the same is, accordingly, dismissed.
