HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 35895 of 2018 ORDER:
1) Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue. With the consent of both the parties, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.
2) The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of respondent No.4, in not considering the representations dated 28.12.2017, 03.01.2018 and application dated 25.07.2018, made by the petitioner for grant of patta, in respect of land admeasuring 1.76 cents (paimashi No.464) in Survey No.307/1 and 307/7, situated at Thiruchanoor village, Chandragiri taluka, Chittoor district, as illegal and arbitrary.
3) Though various grounds are raised, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the respondents to dispose of the representation dated 25.07.2018, made by the petitioner, at the earliest. 4) Learned Government Pleader for revenue would submit that the said representation would be considered in accordance with law, if the same is pending consideration.
5) Recording the above submissions, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider and pass appropriate orders in the representation dated 25.07.2018, made by the petitioner, seeking grant of patta in respect of the above said land, if the petitioner is entitled to, as early as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.
