HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.35871 OF 2018 ORDER:

The present writ petition came to be filed seeking to declare the action of 2nd respondent in not disposing the appeal filed by the petitioner on 24.8.2018 against the order dated 20.8.2018 passed by the 3rd respondent as illegal and arbitrary.

The grievance of the petitioner appears to be that though the petitioner filed the appeal on 24.8.2018, the 2nd respondent did not take any steps to dispose of the same so far.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Pleader for Revenue would submit that the writ petition may be disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to dispose of the same in accordance with law.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner on 24.8.2018, against the order dated 20.8.2018 passed by the 3rd respondent, as early as possible preferably, within a period of three to five months from the date of receipt of copy of this order, in accordance with law, after giving reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and all concerned.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. As a sequel to disposal of the writ petition, WP.M.Ps if any pending shall stand closed.
