THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRL.P.M.P.Nos.4625 & 4626 of 2016 & CRIMINAL PETITION No.4116 of 2016 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed by the accused under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.1657 of 2014 pending on the file of III Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate at Nampally, Hyderabad for the offences under Sections 506 and 507 IPC. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the complainant filed Crl.P.M.P.Nos.4625 and 4626 of 2016 stating that he has entered into compromise with the accused and therefore, prayed to grant permission to compound the offences alleged against the petitioner and to record the compromise between the parties.

Both the parties as well as their counsel have signed on the joint memo annexed to Crl.P.M.P.No.4626 of 2016. The parties, who are present in the Court, also affirmed the same. A perusal of the affidavit filed in support of the petitions goes to show that the matter was settled between the parties. In view of the amicable settlement of the dispute between the parties and in view of the nature of the proceedings, Crl.P.M.P.Nos.4625 & 4626 of 2016 are ordered and the compromise is recorded. Consequent thereto, the Criminal Petition is allowed and the proceedings in C.C.No.1657 of 2014 pending on the file of III Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate at Nampally, Hyderabad are hereby quashed as against the petitioner herein. It is directed that this compromise shall form part of the record. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, filed in this Petition shall stand closed. _________________
