THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE V. RAMASUBRAMANIAN AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE G. SHYAM PRASAD WRIT APPEAL No. 1214 of 2016 JUDGMENT: (Per VRS,J) The appellant is aggrieved by the refusal of the learned single Judge to grant an interim direction to re-induct him into service, pending disposal of the main writ petition. The prayer in the main writ petition itself is for re-induction of the appellant into service, consequent upon the extension of services granted. Therefore, the learned single Judge was right in not granting an interim direction, as the same would tantamount to granting the main relief itself.

However, since the matter may not survive for long, the Registry is directed to list the writ petition for final disposal before the learned single Judge holding the roster, subject to his convenience, preferably within a period of two (2) months. With the above observation, the Writ Appeal is dismissed. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions if any pending in the writ appeal shall stand dismissed.
