Heard.

On a specific query of this Court as to whether the statue in question was erected after obtaining requisite permission in terms of G.O.Ms.No.55, Transport, Roads & Buildings (Roads-I) Department, dated 08-04-2003, it is represented by the learned counsel for the petitioner that no permission was granted by the competent authority for erection of statue. Further, to implement the directions of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in this regard, the Government of A.P. issued G.O.Ms.No.18, Transport Roads & Buildings (Roads-I) Department, dated 18-02-2013.

The learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Standing Counsel submits that no such permission was taken while erecting statue and the learned Standing Counsel states that they are taking appropriate steps in accordance with law. Since the petitioner failed to make out any ground as the statue itself is erected without permission, I am not inclined to entertain the writ petition.
