The petitioner is aggrieved by the endorsement dated 22.11.2013 whereby the application filed by him for issuance of caste certificate, under the provisions of A.P. Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Class (Regulation of Issue of Community Certificates) Act 1993 (for short 'the Act'), was rejected on the ground that he had not produced caste evidences. The learned counsel for the petitioner contends that as a matter of fact the petitioner had submitted the documents issued by the 2nd respondent-Tahsildar, Renigunta Mandal, viz., Caste Certificate dated 23.07.2011 and 01.09.2014 to the

brother of the petitioner; residence certificate dated 21.11.2013 in his favour; Transfer Certificate issued by Sri Srinivasa Junior College, Renigunta dated 19.06.2008 and Community, Nativity and Date of Birth Certificate issued by the Tahsildar dated ___.11.2008 as per G.O.Ms.No.1793, Edn., Dept., dated 23.09.1970. In spite of the same the 2nd respondent had rejected the application of the petitioner with an endorsement 'not produced caste evidences'.

Having considered the submissions made on behalf of the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Social Welfare, the writ petition is disposed of permitting the petitioner to submit fresh application in the prescribed format by enclosing all the documents, which are mentioned in this order, before the 2nd respondent through registered post acknowledgement due. On such application being filed, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the said application in the light of the said documents and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of 30 days thereafter. No costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
