In view of the explanations offered, I do not consider that it would be appropriate to continue with the suomotu contempt proceedings initiated. On the other hand, it would be more appropriate that the writ petitions be listed for hearing. Hence, the contempt cases stand closed. No costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending shall also stand closed.
