This writ petition is filed seeking the following prayer: "to issue a writ, order or direction more in the nature of a writ of Mandamus directing the action of 1st respondent issued in Rc.No.A3/20661/2002-10, dated 23.08.2002 and the 2nd respondent issued in Rc.No.A1/5675/2002, dated 24.8.2002, as illegal, arbitrary, improper and set aside the same and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."

Admittedly, the petitioner was aged 53 years at the time of filing of the writ petition. Now, the petitioner attained the age of superannuation. As such, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
