HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No. 6858 of 2013 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, the petitioner/A.1 seeks to quash the proceedings in C.C No. 227 of 2012 on the file of XIII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad, registered for the offences under Sections 498-A, 406, 506 and 420 IPC and Sections 4 & 6 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 (Crime No. 21 of 2012). 2.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 12.06.2018 of Inspector of Police, WPS, CCS, DD, Hyderabad and submitted that CC No. 227 of 2012 was closed and petitioner/A1 was acquitted and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in C.C No. 227 of 2012 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
