Petitioner prays for Mandamus for disposing of the appeal and the stay petition filed by petitioner on 21.11.2016 against the proceedings Rc.No.B/ 1034/ 2016 dated 02.09.2016. 2.

The grievance of petitioner is that the appointment of the fifth respondent by third respondent as hawker to distribute kerosene is without notice much less giving opportunity to petitioner. According to petitioner, he has been supplying kerosene from 2009 onwards. 3.

This Court is of the view that if the stay petition is not considered at the earliest, the petitioner suffers hardship and injury. I am satisfied the writ petition is disposed of by this order:

1. The second respondent is directed to pass orders on the stay petition dated 21.11.2016 within two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

2. It is further directed that the appeal filed against the proceedings Rc.No.B/ 1034/ 2016 dated 02.09.2016 shall be heard and dispose of within two (2) months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
