When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is informed by the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent-Corporation that the issue raised in this writ petition in respect of the seniority list has been settled by this Court against the petitioner in W.A.No.1285 of 2004 and batch dated 14.07.2006 and therefore, the relief sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted. Learned counsel for the petitioner has also not disputed the same.

In view of the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
