O R D E R

This writ petition was filed assailing the action of the authorities in not allowing the petitioner to carry on the business of black jaggery and alum and in placing restrictions upon the sale and purchase of the said items. By order dated 27.09.2011, this Court directed the respondents not to interfere with the business of the petitioner in black jaggery and alum without following due process of law.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home informed this Court that the issue of interference by the authorities with the commodity, black jaggery, fell for consideration before a Full Bench of this Court in GANESH TRADERS (KIRANA

AND GENERAL MERCHANTS), DHERMAPURI, KARIMNAGAR DISTRICT V/s. DISTRICT COLLECTOR, KARIMNAGAR and that the law laid down in the said decision is holding the field.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of directing the respondent authorities to abide by the due procedure and the law laid down by this Court in the aforestated decision. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs. ______________________ SANJAY KUMAR, J 13th OCTOBER, 2015 PGS
