CVNR, J & TA, J WP.No.35964 of 2018 Dated:11.10.2018 ORDER: (per Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy) This Writ Petition is filed for issue of Habeas Corpus directing respondent No.3 to produce S.Ishwarya-the daughter of the petitioner (hereinafter referred to as 'the alleged detenue') before this Court and set her at liberty.

In pursuance of the notice issued by this Court, the SubInspector of Police, Chittoor I Town Police Station, filed a counter-affidavit, wherein he has narrated in detail the measures taken by him to find out the whereabouts of the alleged detenu. On going through the steps taken by the Police as detailed in paras-5 to 8 of the counter-affidavit, we are of the opinion that the Police of respondent No.3-Police Station have taken all the measures that are required to trace the alleged detenue, but they could not succeed in their efforts in this regard.

In the light of the above, we do not find any reason to keep this Writ Petition pending.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, closed.
