This civil revision petition is filed by the petitioner aggrieved by the non-disposal of EP.No.162 of 2016 by the Principal Senior Civil Judge, Srikakulam.

Heard the counsel for the petitioner. None appeared for the respondent.

The counsel for the petitioner submits that the suit, filed by the petitioner for specific performance, was decreed ex parte in favour of the petitioner and that no petition to set aside the ex parte decree was filed by the respondent and that a direction was made to deposit the balance of sale consideration and the same was deposited on 10.12.2015 but the EP is not being disposed of. 4.
Hence, considering that the balance sale consideration was deposited on 10.12.2015 i.e. three years ago, the Court below is directed to dispose of the EP expeditiously, preferably, within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The civil revision petition is allowed.
As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
